Hi Lynn Very difficult on n1841 census to be sure that you have the correct people as there are mant West families in Devon+ no birthplaces are shown and ages are rounded up+not many people used their full names on census returns. None on 1841 census that I could positively say were the right people, especially as the older children had probably moved away. only 2 possibles for 1851:
Robinson Row,Kingston upon Hull,Yorks Gilbert West Head 29 Fisherman b Brixham Sarah West Wife 28 b Brixham Emma West Daur 1 b Brixham
Saltash St,Plymouth Charles the Martyr John West Head 37 Policeman b Brixham Rebecca West Wife 37 b Plymstock Susan E West Daur 13 b Plymstock Thomas West Son 2 b Plymstock Medora West Daur 11mths b Plymouth
Sorry not more positive result Mary

Ben You have already asked me to find Mary Donghue and her parents in Manchester.I have tried without success to find them on 1871,81.
Have you looked for the marriage of the Jenkins folks on Freebmd????I cannot see them on 1871 census in Gloucestershire.
With regard to your previous message I have found the Riley family on 1901 census and have saved the image.I also found the Lingings family on 1871 census and have saved the image. If you PM your email addy I will forward the images I found to you. You must have some remarkable forbears as one of the women (according to you request had a child at the age of 70!!!!!Please check facts before asking for lookups,it is very confusing to try to work out what you are asking for. How much research have you done on your tree??

Hi Mary
Many thanks for the info.
Can I ask another favour - could you also pull me the information for the 1871 Census.
Francis Alfred Quenet - abt 1837 France
I am particularly interested in his occupation and the address of the house. He is married by then to Isabella MacDonald.
If you could help I would be very appreciative.
thanks
Jan

Thanks Mary... I think the 1861 seems right as he was 13 in 1851 census.. His brother Fleetwood was 4yrs and 14yrs in 1961 census so dont think it can be him. Strangely he is down as a Shipwright! Wonder where he got to!! Thankyou again Dorothy

Hi Mary... Is it possible to look-up the following family in 1851, 61, 71 and 91 please? Addresses and occupations are helpful if it's possible?
1851 Huntingdonshire census: William Pratt (c.1823)... Maria his wife (c. 1828)... Susan (c.1849)
1861 census: William Pratt (c. 1824 Hunts)... Maria (c. 1826 Hunts)... Susan (c.1849 Hunts) ...
1871 census (London I think): William Pratt (c.1826)... Maria (c.1826 Hunts)... Ada (c.1867 London) ...
and for 1891 too if possible please?
Many thanks and Happy New Year! K
