Hi Mary
I found the marriage for Hoby and Julia on Family search.org.(1895)... also found the son Stanley born Wood Green under Clark-Watson as he had another father (Ernest Clark). Just thought their maybe some other Watsons in 1901 census! Please dont worry if they are difficult to find...I am very grateful for your offers. Thankyou...Dorothy.

Harold and Mary probably married in Wales then moved to Manchester, that is the only information I have at the moment. They had Harold c1870, Robert c1872, Martha c1876, Eliza c1880 and Lillian 1884, Lillian met her husband in Manchester so it is possible that they moved there after her birth, tho its also possible she was born there.
Alfred and Mary- Mary's surname was probably Potts... Their children are Elsie 1889 Manchester, Charles c1890, Thomas c1890, Alf c1805, Marion 1906-1944. All born in Manchester as far as I know. Thankyou Ben Thankyou again.

Hi Lynn If you are only just starting your tree the first thing you should do is write down all the facts you know for sure.Starting with you and any brothers and sisters years of birth and where, from that you should be able to work out approximately when your parents married and a rough idea where. Without dates I can do nothing and locations of where events took place helps as well. it is a good idea to go to your local library and get a book on tracing your family history. There are many available and they are full of good advice on how to approach a fascinating subject.

Hi Marilyn I strongly recommend that you purchase the birth cert for Frederick Allard and also his possible marriage cert as these two documents will give valuable clues as to his parentage and where he may be found on census returns. Since his possible marriage took place after the 1901 census it will not be possible to find him with wife. Have you checked Freebmd for possible children born after 1901??? I assume you have the GRO ref nos for his birth and possible marriage,if not you can find them on Freebmd site.

Ben You still have not answered my question Have you looked on Freebmd for the marriages and the births of the children???? I cannot find a Kendrick family on 1891 or 1901 census that fits the info you have given neither can I find a Evans family on any census in England or Wales that fits. If your info is from family hearsay you must try to verify it before asking for lookups.
