How do I find when a WW1 soldier enlisted please

His records won't be on Ancestry - the only ones they have on there so far are for those discharged to pension. Neither will they be at Glasgow. If they survive, they will be at Kew. |

Hi Diane and Jim, thanks for replying. Diane his name was Private Ralph Hartley.....number 11585 of the 14th Royal Warwickshire Regiment. He died in action age 25 on October 25th 1917 and is buried at Tyne Cot Memorial Cemetery in Belgium. He was born 17th May 1893 in Manchester. His fathers name was John and his mothers Mary. I would be so grateful if you wouldn't mind looking it up for me. Thank you for your very kind offer. |

Hi, I am trying to find the date my Grandfather enlisted. I have his regiment and roll number and I know when and where he died in action but, how do I find out when he enlisted, any help would be appreciated. |
