Charles Lockett senior was my great great grandfather. Charles jnr was my great grandfather. Ellen obviously great great grandmother.

I am wanting any information like occupations, addresses, marriages etc. I am fairly new to this and it takes me hours and hours trying to do searches.

Any information that you could come up with would be brilliant. I want to go back as far as possible.

Sheila, i can't find nothing on frank wilson the only information i can find, is 1891 census with his parents my best bet is go to your registry office and ask them to do a trace sorry i could'nt help

I am getting nowhere with the Wilson line in my family.John Wilson c1825(merchant seaman) whose wife is Mary ? . John died before 1851 leaving Mary with Thomas b1847 and Ann E c1847.
Thomas Wilson married Ellen Ringrose 21/6/1867 and had 5 children of which again I have little knowledge. These were my mum's grandparents snd a great chunk of the tree. Their children were Arthur b18/9/1881,Ellen or Nellie c1874,Alice c1871, (married a Fred Bray), Annie c1868 (married a Tom Abbey and finally Frank b1888 who seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth!
Ages and names seem to vary between census including an Ada I know nothing about.
The family is Hull based.
Is there a light at the end of my tunnel?
Serves me right for having such a common surname

ni this is not the one. Actually found the family in the 1841 census and the mother who is widowed in the 1861 census. So that is a start. Thanks for your help

Would you mind looking up a william downs in the 1901 census please,I beleive he was born in dec 1900 so would only have been a few months old at the time of the census.He lived in london poss southwark/lambeth area,any parental or sibling info would be great.

Thanks Claire, I also have Elizabeth 1884c, William 1896c John 1898c and Ronda 1900c Smith listed as living with Rebecca but I note that their birth dates coinside with Rebecca and Alfreds childrens birth, do you think maybe Alfred died young and Rebecca met Job who's wife had also died leaving Job with these four children?
