Find Ancestors

I am unable to trace a family on either the 1881 or 1891 census. I have tried to search using the tips Reg gave me but to no avail.

Ann Elizabeth Blacker born Rothwell 1872. She married Thomas William Cooling in Rothwell 1893.

Kind GR members (including Reg) located her on the 1901 census with the surname mistranscribed as Carling. Her place of birth on the 1901 census is Roydon Green however I believe this should be Royds Green, Rothwell as I know this exists and also I found her birth on the Yorkshire BMD website.

I have traced the Cooling families back however cannot find the Blacker family.

Are there any experts who can help?

nothing to do with your hunting ,but my grandparents Tom & Eliza Nunns lived at 4 armatige yard rothwell from abt 1903 till their deaths and my mum Alice Nunns and uncle Henry Nunns were there till after the war
