Hi Joy

Nearest I could get to Isaac Row is this one

1870, Suffolk, Massachuesetts

Isaac Row, age 37, Carpenter, born England
Arabella Row, age 34, Keeping House, born Ireland
Bessie Row, age 13, born Ireland
Annie Row, age 6, born Mass
Eva Row, age 4, born Mass

(Couldn't find him 1880 or 1900)

Not much luck with Elizabeth either I'm afraid, found her as you say in 1920, but not 1930 or earlier.

Sorry

Thanks Carol - my you are quick! It is a possibilty even though age is not correct.

If it's not too much to ask could you look up ISAAC b. 1840 U.K. on shipping lists? - from around 1858 or so?

Is it possible that ELIZABETH might appear in Death Records - after 1920?

Many, many thanks!! Joy

Hi Carol,
Thanks for trying to find my Samuel J Hurt.
Is there any chance that he may still be in this country on the 1891 and 1901 census?
Any help would be appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Susan

Hi Chris

Love the name Jeremiah! Not too many entries on ancestry for that name, here's the one I think you're interested in.

Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, 1500s-1900s
about Jeremiah Northend
Name: Jeremiah Northend
Year: 1620-1650
Place: Salem, Massachusetts
Source Publication Code: 275
Primary Immigrant: Northend, Jeremiah
Annotation: Comprehensive listing of early immigrants, in various arrangements to assist the researcher. Pages 1-189 contain passenger lists; pages 193-295 are indexes.
Source Bibliography: BANKS, CHARLES EDWARD. Topographical Dictionary of 2885 English Emigrants to New England, 1620-1650. Edited, indexed and published by Elijah Ellsworth Brownell. Philadelphia: Bertram Press, 1937. 295p. Reprinted by Genealogical Publishing Co., Baltimore, 1957. Repr. 1987.

Doesn't give much more than you already knew, but at least you can try and see if you can get hold of a copy of that book, try interlibrary lending? Or ask if anyone in the states can access it?

Good luck

Hi Doreen

The last available American census is 1930, therefore, won't be able to see if Charlotte & DAvid married 1934 had any children - next census would be 1940 - not sure when that will be released.

Hi Joy

Sorry no luck with passenger lists for Isaac. Nor death for Elizabeth though there aren't really many death records on Ancestry. You'd need to try the state department where she was living when she died to check - bit like checking our GRO records, except there's no central index, each state keeps their own records.

Many thanks for trying to find ISAAC and ELIZABETH ROW for me - they have proved very elusive! Only missing links in that part of my research! Guess I'll have to keep hoping and searching!

Hi Carol

Is there any chance you could look for a Mildred B. Ling from Baltimore. Think she was born some time around 1920.

Many thanks.
