We would very much like to find any information about George Frederick Henley (and any descendants). Born Brighton, Sussex, in 1878; he was an apprentice tailor in 1891. He served in the Black Watch regiment in the Boer War. He also saw action in WW1, and we believe he was a customs officer, at St Katharine's Dock, London, at the outbreak of WW2. That, however, is about all we know about him. We have no information at all about any descendants. Anything extra would be very welcome ! |
