I previously asked for a lookup for a marriage between a Richard Browne c1795 and a Maria c1805.
I found on 1841 census he was then Edward.
Are there any marriages for Edward to Maria approx 1820 possibly in Thurton Norfolk? .

There are several marriages for a William Long but whether one is what you are looking for, I do not know:

To Mary Halls 20/10/1801 Downham Market

To Ann Woods 15/10/1806 Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen

To Mary Jeary 21/1/1812 Downham Market

To Lydia Walker 16/11/1832 Wiggenhall St Germans

To Mary Ann Ward 8/2/1835 Downham Market

Many many more William Longs married but these are the two parishes you mentioned!

What was interesting, was this one:

Rebecca Rudling & Henry Long 19/10/1835 Norwich All Saints.

William Long c1778 Downham Norfolk who he married????. Found his name as brides father daughter Susanna Goodgen?married Benjamin Rudlin in 1838. So is Williams wife ?Goodgen.

Thank you so much for all that info . I have printed it out and will now study it
No i dont have access to Ancestry,so help with the m of Philip Farrow to Emily would be appreciated please. When i requested your disc look up i had noted their 1st child being b about 1849 . I didnt think to look when Philip was born . I now see he wasnt born untill about 1827. That makes the marriage in the late 1840's much more likely. Emily was b about 1825 in Lowestoft and several children were b there,so i guess the m would be lowestoft area

Marion, not much use this time.

There is no John Farrow marrying a Maria and no John Farrows marrying in Norwich.

There is no Elijah Farrow marrying a Martha, but there is one on the CD: Elijah Farrow and Elizabeth Chambers on 1/10/1836 at Heigham St Bartholemew.

No Philips either, though I would think this marriage would be after 1837 and therefore on ancestry - have you got access, if you haven't, let me know and I will take a look for you.

There are only two Edward Farrows, either could be the one you are looking for.

and
To: Elizabeth Branch on 31/12/1821 at Norwich St Stephen.

Have looked at the three parishes you have given me and only found the following:

Nothing for Thurlton or Herringfleet

James Farrow & Elizabeth Pettingill 22/5/1810 Somerleyton.

Jonathan Farrow & Hannah Elizabeth Brown 14/10/1830 Somerleyton.

Stephen Farrow & Mary Pope 3/11/1825 Somerleyton.

In other parishes there were:
12 x William Farrow
6 x Susan Farrow
17 x Elizabeth Farrow
2 x Edward Farrow
7 x Benjamin Farrow
6 x Hannah Farrow

and a couple more Jonathan Farrow.

I would think that some of these are connected to your family, so if you have any indication of other parishes for me to look at, I can look again.

I have the details of her second to Abraham Abel but she married him using her SKeet name and not her maiden name. It was Mark skeet I was really after as Mark Skeet seems an impossible name to find.
