Are there any specific names or parishes for the "Riches" surname as there are rather a lot to list them all.

Many thanks for the info. The Esther Disney and George Burwood is very interesting as Burwood is the middle name of one of Henry's sons. She may be his sister. I'll look into that and the others on your list.

I am afraid, I cannot find a marriage between a Thomas Ruddock/Rudduck to a Rosanna.

Checked for surname Ruddock/Rudduck married in Goreston but it only gave me one:

Maybe this is Thomas' parents?

It is an unusual surname so there are not too many on the CD. Most of the marriages took place in North and South Lopham, so perhaps the family originated from there.

Just clutching at straws - could Rosanna be Susanna? perhaps Susan Scarles & Thomas marriage in 1822? Where did you get the name Rosanna from? Has it been transcribed wrongly?

i know that the parish families lived in norfolk but were mainly in suffolk , any hints and help would be great thanking you so much in advance for looking for me.

Many thanks for the offer for look ups. Jennet (sic) Louisa Long Ruddocks was christened 30.04.1828 at Gorleston. Her parent's were Thomas Ruddocks and Rosanna. Could you see if you have a marriage for them please. Thomas was a shipwright and was living Row 10 Gt. Yar in 1846.

There were two James Wright married to Maria's in Loddon I think the other one was Maria Snowling.

I have looked up other Wright marriages in Loddon for you too as they may be of interest to you....

Amy Wright & James Fairhead 13th Feb 1815

William Wright & Mary George 4th July 1827

Phoebe Wright & John Blake 18th May 1829

There are no more Mayhew marriages at Loddon, most of them were in Norwich parishes so Maria may have originated from Norwich.

Carol. Sorry for delay in getting back I haven't been on GR for a few days. I am also sorry but Wortham is in Suffolk, not Norfolk, and although there are a handful of parishes covered on the disc, Worham isn't one of them. I did check just in case the couple were listed but they were not.

I am a member of Norfolk Famly History Society which has given his marriage as May 1818 but does not give his brides name.
