Hi Janet, just wondered if you would be able to clear up a niggle for me please. I am looking for my gt grandad - Thomas William Lodge - born 1871 in Ongar, Essex - who would have been working as a Platelayer (railway) in 1891. I have found my gt gran - who he married later that year - with a boarder William Lodge - born 1868 in Romford, Essex (where mine did live for a while) working as a Platelayer. I am tempted to just believe it MUST be him, but would just like a double check to see if there is a "Thomas" or "Thomas William" or "Thomas W" Lodge too with same occupation etc. Hope I haven't made this too long-winded?! Thanks for anything you find. Maz.XX |
