Thanks Lynda. Could you let me know the details of those people. That may help me figure out why the 2 g grandparents were living there prior to marriage. Sounds like a comedy trio!! Thanks again, Di. |

Thanks Lynda. I've been browsing thro Parish records on film at the LDS, so I know how difficult some of this old script is. And have you ever tried to transcribe an 1820 9 page will & testament!!? I very much appreciate the help. Di. |

Hi Lynda I did get you to look this up previously, but you didn't manage to find anything. Just thought I'd give it a second go, as I have it confirmed now that they were at this address in 1871. the address is 24 Museum Street in Bloomsbury. and the surname I am looking for is either Littlejohn(s) or Sheldon. regards, Siobhan |

Hi Lynda Thanks for that, I have a marriage cert which is just after 1871 which gave that address, so I was pretty sure one of them was living there. Obviously they were not. Am not having much luck finding Edwin in 1871. Oh well back to the drawing board. Thanks AGAIN |

I think St Pauls Place is in Islington. On the lds site it just said London. Elder Street is in Norton Folgate, I forgot to ask whether that area is included in the search. Lucia |

Thanks for looking, I was wondering if they were living there at the time of the census as this was where they were living at the time of their marriage in 1872. I think Blackheath could be Kent, as matildas' parents were living in Kent in 1881. Merry Christmas Lucia |

The main name I was looking for was Sheldon, or any other surnames that may give me some clues. There are no littlejohns there are they. This is an address I have that may be a connection prior to Edwin Littlejohns and Mary Sheldons marriage. Have any of the occupiers got occupations to do with the theatre. |

Hi Lynda Doesn't mean anything at the moment, but will keep a note of it. Cos before a name has mean't nothing and a little lucky guess then helped me to trace back a good hundred years. Can you see if any of the occupations are to do with the theatre. Lynda.....Thanks again. |
