Hi Lynda Would you be able to check for John & Sarah Hunt. In 1881 they were at 38 Clarence Gardens (sorry - no suburb given, probably St Pancras area). Ages in 1871 would be about 35 & 32. They had a child Frederick, would be about age 1. Son's middle initial is transcribed as "E" in 1881, I suspect it should be "G" (Gilbert). That's if I have the right family! Also, if I can stretch the favour further - Charles & Jane Parsons. In 1881 they were at 22 Little George St (also in St Pancras area I think). Ages in 1871 would be about 44 & 41. Lynda, you're a legend. Thanks so much. I didn't know about the two brother-in-laws - it goes to show that it's worth checking on every census, even if you're sure that you have the right family on one. Great to be able to confirm that Frederick's middle initial on the 1881 was mis-transcribed, too. Incidentally, his middle name was Gilbert, obviously named after his mother's maiden name, as shown by her brothers surname! kind regards, Richard in Oz
