Hi Janet Please could you look up the following: Dennis Durrant (34) born Norfolk, married to Margaret. Living in Middlesbrough (possibly North Ormesby). Have at least two children - Albert (12) and Mary (10) Also Dennis Durrant (55)born Norfolk, living in Middlesbrough and Wife Rebecca (59) born Norfolk plus their other two sons: George (28) and James (22) both born Norfolk. They should also be living in Middlesbrough, but may not be with their parents - I have sent you an email as well earlier, so just ignore that when you come to read it Thanks - Lucy |

Hello Janet I hope you can help me i am looking for the place that my grandparents lived in Oxfordshire .They are James John Bryant and Therza or Thersa Bryant or they may not have been married then in that case my grandmother would have been Barrett. Iknow nothing at all about my grandmother as she died between 1910 when my mother was born and 1918 when my grandfather married Daisy May Jeacock . Not a lot to go on but anything would help . Thanks Val Barham |

Thanks Jan That was quick Elizabeth appears to have become Alice and Jane is using her middle name Elizabeth why oh why did they do these things. There was another four children born before this lot, all boys aged between 21 and 30 by the 1891 census so had obviously married and left home, fancy having 10 children!!! |

I am despersate to find some connection to my grandmother I understand she was called Christina married name French husband John French they had one daughter Elsie Mabel French born 1912 in Birmingham. We do not know Grandmothers maiden name but was living in Birmingham in early 1900's she died in 1968 in Devon if you could check in 1891 census I would be very grateful Thank you Christine P |
