Hi Susie Could you do some checks for me. I'm interested in any Timms entries on the NBI for Tunbridge Wells/Tonbridge area (Kent) from 1875 And on the 1891 census any Forthanns in the Tunbridge Wells area. Many thanks for any help you can give me and merry christmas. Karen

hi leigh there are only 2 for catherine but not in sussex isaiah sparks married katherine knight 11 jun 1833 blundeston with flixton suffolk william brown married catherine knight 4 jan 1833 bristol gloucs charles smith married maria knight 31 mar 1834 bristol gloucs there are quite a few for mary but again none in sussex susie

Suzie - please would you kindly have a look at this family in 1891 they are James T Knaff (should be Knapp) wife Elizabeth. James, William and Joseph sons and others ! They are in Mayfield East Sussex. I confess - someone did this look-up for me ages ago - I remember that some of it was difficult to read !! I'm going through my 'stuff' and find that I have thrown out the paper record that I kept and stupidly had'nt 'got round' to putting them on disk. Sue.

lucia all i could find jane gorbould married henry carter 2 aug 1902 westminster soho st.ann husbands father albert carter wifes fatherrobert gorbould all the others were from norfolk and suffolk the vri is from 1530-2000 the nbi is from 1538-2000,but they arnt complete.a lot of counties arnt covered susie

Can you look up Gorbolds in Shoreditch, Spitalfields, Norton Folgate, Rotherhithe, Bermondsey, Bethnal Green, in the greater london area. I am not sure of any particular names. What are the dates for the VRI and NBI?

Hi Susie Thanks for the information the john is definately his father and i've heard that john had a brother called Charles so i would say that's his uncle. I've just realised that I did not put down birth year - sorry Charles Norfolk was born in 1845/46 Kind Regards
