Hello Sally, Thanks for the kind offer! Could you please lookup: Francis G Slynn born 1837 Birmingham, was living Latimer Road Birmingham in 1881 Tin Plate Worker, George Slynn born circa 1790 Birmingham (father of Francis G) Sarah Slynn wife born circa 1790 Edgbaston. The name Slynn has been misspelt in most of the census returns! I have seen Slym, Slyme, Slymn.....! Thanks again, Gillian |

This looks like the one but, james born 1840 not 1850? Hi Sally, Is it possible that you could look up William Bishop, wife is Lydia Bishop at Balsall Heath, Kings Norton. They should have a son, James Purton Bishop b.1850. William's occupation I think is Pointer, but it could be Painter. Thanks in advance Helen |
