Wow, Debbie, thanks for the quick response! Like you, I'm not sure this is my family... but as you say there is room for a 15 year old. Wouldn't it just be typical if Joseph was absent that day! I not sure how you search the 1871... Although Joseph was born in 'Middlesex, London' by 1881 he was married, working as a paper maker and living in Kent.
