Hi Rebecca, I am looking for the birth of Theresa Ibbotson, born Sheffield c 1848. GRO have done a search for me for her between 1847 and 1849 but no sign of her. She said she was 23 in April 1871 (her marriage date). Her father was Henry Ibbotson. I am wondering if she gave her wrong age and it could be 1846 or 1850!!. Many thanks for your kind offer. Margaret |

Hi Rebecca Just wanted to thank you once again, from the information you gave me of Edwin Littlejohns, I then search for other Littlejohns on the same volume and found one which I was convinced was Edwin's son. I had been having trouble finding them on any of the census' but have now just found them on the 1891, transcribed as John as surname, they obviously thought that Little was his surname, and the person who I was convinced is his son, WAS. So thank you very much, have also now found his aunt as she is also living with him. Regards, Siobhan |

Hi Rebecca Thanks for getting back to me. My grandfather was the first child - there was a girl born later. Henry Walter died somewhere before 1901 since his wife remained that year listing herself as widow. I have had no luck finding his death either. So don't spend any more time looking for me. I am afraid it might be a waste of money that could be better spent on those who have a bit more specific info. Thanks for sharing your credits with us. Sandra in Ontario |
