Cheers Deb. Thats my grandmother alright - now I need to find out who her mother was. Marriage certificate has her father as Walter John Haddon - ancestry has a Walter John married to Emma Jane Cook 1891 (I think I'vepicked out the right wife!) but I need to double check on it. More confusing as Walters father William John Haddon was sometimes known as John. Can you help with this at all ? Thanks Mary

Hi Deb, Thank you for the search, it took me a while to take in all that info! I think that out of the two entries the second one fits in with what you previously looked up for me, assuming that the all the children had left home except Frank, and Isaac Welham must have died before 1881 census, but the only recorded death I can find is 1875 aged 38 in Samford, Suffolk, which would mean that he would have 19 years younger than his wife!!!!! Did they have toy boys then???? Lindsay
