Hi, I really need to know the parents of C (K) atherine Brown b 1871. Married James Dickson McKerrow abt 1890/91 in Paisley. I always thought it was Katherine but recent searching I found her under Catherine but can not be sure which one she is in earlier census. I have plenty of details about the McKerrows but can not make a start on the Brown so any help please. James was born in Douglas Lanarkshire. Gloria

Hi, I do have scots ancestors with their middle name as Henderson or McGregor. Isabella McGregor Lawcock married Alexander McKerrow on 28 April 1865 in Douglas. I believe that James Dickson McKerrow and Katherine Brown had a daughter called Margret or May Henderson McKerrow. Not sure if she was the one that married a Crawford. The Crawfords now live on the Isle of Arran. Do you have a connection with these then?? Gloria

On the 1951 census he is 27 and living in Blyth - he is a 'journeyman and tailor'. It cites him as being born in Berwick approx 1824?

Just lookin thru "Records Office" and came across yours. I myself am originally from Glasgow but for my "Sins" ha ha now stay in Fife I stayed in Parkheid then moved to Cranhill well enough of me!.I hopeyour still helping folk like me who are trying to find info on a late parent (my mother) her name was Agnes Adamson McIntyre born in Crail Street in December 1909 last one of 13 children one named Nellie (Hele and one named Lancelot (Lancie). Mothers name was Margaret Moncrieff Adamson Fathers name Daniel McIntyre.

I would be extremely grateful for any information you could give me.
