He was born in 1849 in Winkleigh Devon and was married to Sarah Ann (maiden name unknown) who was born in 1848 in Bondleigh Devon . On the 1881 census Richard and Sarah were both 32. Kia Ora from New Zealand Warwickshire 1851; I am trying to solve a mystery of a missing marriage! Would you be able to find William Boyce born <1824> in (Temple )Grafton? In 1871 he had a son William aged 20 living with him in Alcester and said he was married but there was no wife nor other children. In 1881 he is living alone and says he was widowed.
