Marlene, I looked them all up separately, but couldn't find any of the right age or place, but there was a Charles Salmon, living in Warwickshire, but is listed as being born in Wiltshire. Sorry not to be of any help, Nicola |

Hi Nicola, Thanks for trying. It's strange cos the FRO said I should find them in Warwickshire. I'll have to try someone with access to Shropshire instead. Thx again Elaine |

Hi Nichola Came back to look at my "Salmon" family and found I asked for Boyce which you had answered as well and I haven't said thank you. I am so sorry! Mother went into hospital and I completely lost track of all that I was doing. Apologies. Don't know where my Salmons went a couple of the sons seemed to have married in Warwick but it is back to he drawing board for that family I suspect> thanks for looking! Regards Marlene |

Nicola, Would you be able to find the following for me: Thomas SPEARS, born Aston/Birmingham, aged 20 or thereabouts, occupation may be listed as Dresser or Brass Founder Also: Elizabeth BARNES, born Aston/Birmingham, aged 18 or thereabouts. She may be listed as Dyhannah BARNES (Elizabeth being her middle name), as this was her first name but it looks as if she never used it. Thanks, Andy. |

Cheers Nicola. That looks like Thomas - pity he isn't living with his parents but never mind - and that definitely seems to be Elizabeth as the parents names match up with what I have. Many thanks, Andy. |

Nicola, you're a gem! There is a distinct possibility that these could be related to my Thomas SPEARS, as most of Thomas's sons went into the brass industry, so it could be that those you've found may be brothers of Thomas. Have to prove it for sure but I'll keep what you found for future reference. cheers, Andy |

Nicola, Would you be able to look up a James McLean born in Brixham around 1849? I was sure that he wasn't born there (family members say he was born on Mull) but in a later census it says Brixham. His wife was also supposed to have been born in Portsmouth but in the same census it also says Brixham - so I am a little confused and wondered if you would be able to check it for me! Thank you! Abigail |

Thank you Nicola. Perhaps they WERE all fibbing on the census! Now how unlikely would that be I wonder! Perhaps I am about to get back a little of the romance in my tree! Thanks Abigail |
