Hi Richard Many thanks for your kind offer. Please could you look up a passport application in the name of WILLIAM CLARK from Brigg or Glanford Brigg, Lincs. I'm not sure when he went abroard but I tried to look under 1860 and it came up with 5 applications but don't know if that's the right date. I know he went to Italy because he did a sculpture of the dying gladiator from the original which he'd seen in the Vatican city, Rome. Much appreciated Jenny |

Can you find the marriage or death of John Thomas Hearn, b.Bedford 1881. I know he married and worked at Wadenhoe Manor Northants with his wife, retired to Cranford Northants and ended his days at St. Marys -hospital I think- in Kettering Northants. Been searching for a long long time. Thanks Mary Brooke |

Gwynneth I had a look, but there were no Turrell/Tyrrell listed in 1860. The closest were: R Tyrell 1872-1883 G Turrell 1883-1887 B Tyrrell 1883-1887 W Tyrrell 1883-1887 (2 listed) Sheila - this archive lists only those events that happened at sea. Sorry. |

Hi Richard, Thanks for the offer. Please could you look for John Tyrrell or Turrell lost at sea during a storm off the East coast on May 28th 1860. I'm not sure how long they waited to declare a death at sea. TIA, Gwynne |

I have some spare credits on www(.)nationalarchivist(.)com This site is free to search but you have to pay to view images. If you can narrow down your search to a couple of potential images or so, I would be happy to download the image and send to you (I may as well use up the credits - had to buy 30 but only wanted one lookup). The archives on the site include divorce/matrimonial index 1858-1903, death duty registers index 1796-1903, Births/Marriages/Deaths at sea 1854-1890. |
