Hi Rick Many thanks for your kind offer. Please can you check out a Charles Hudson for me - born c1803 at Stamford. If it's the right one he might be married to a Rebecca Smith from Picksworth. They had a son called William born Easton. I had a quick look on thesite and found mention of one who had father Benjamin Hudson adn Ann Hardington or Hardingham. Anything you can tell me about siblings of William and anscestors of Charles would be great. Only check English ones as I know they didn't go to the States. Many thanks Jenny |

Hiya Lynda, Well, well - me doing a lookup for you - there's a turn up eh ? Not that I can find anything, I'm afraid. Only one Mary Hill in London (Soutwark) & her parents are Charles & Mary Ann. It doesn't say anywhere on the site what the coverage is for the index. It certainly seems to cover a wide area - not just London anyway. Rick. |

Hiya Rick Can you look up a MaryA Hill b. 1848-51 Islington, would be living with David and Mary. Is the 1851 name index varied in the areas or is it a mix? Thank you so much you are a very nice man!!! Lynda |

Sorry Sue, There's on in Scotland, but that's it. I didn't pay for the site ! You get a free subscription for a month if you upload your GEDCOM and it has more than 60 individuals and 15 families. Extra month for 5000 individuals. There's only 3% of the 1851 census, so it's a bit hit & miss, but it does have Cornwall 1871. A lot of the trees on there are American - not surprising as it's an American site. I did find a match on one of my ancestors though and it has a smart matching feature for your tree against other peoples. I wouldn't pay to use it as there's too little UK stuff on there. Rick. |

hi rick, sorry to bother you again, but someone has just suggested he might have been illegitimate, and added walker later, that could be why he cannot be found anywhere pre 1873. could you possibly check for a william randall, b 1844/46 manchester, sue. ps that web site looks pretty good, do you think it was worth paying for ? sue. |
