Tracey, many thanks in advance. Would tou kindly have a look for a Whitehouse family in Worcs.1871, In 1851 they were in Quarry Bank Staffs but have moved on each census I have found them on. Thomas b 1808 Old Swinford Worc Elizabeth b 1815 Rowley Regis Staffs John b 1834 Cradley Worc Caroline b 1836 Kingswinford Staffs Jane b 1844, Cradley , Worc Emily b 1845, Cradley Worc Thomas b 1848, Cradley, Worc The latter one is the one I am after. He married in Derby in 1879 Once again many thanks

Thanks for looking Tracy, I'm puzzled now because Daniel Eley senior was still around in 1881. When you have time could you have a look for Eliza 43, Hannah 20, Joseph 19, Eli 17 and Ann 9. I hope they weren't all hiding! Many thanks Heather

Heather, Sorry no Daniels in 1871- but plenty of Eleys in Netherton & Dudley in 1891 census. Sorry

Hi Tracy I would be most grateful if you could find Daniel Eley or Ely aged about 62 and his son also named Daniel aged about 42. In 1851 and 1861 they were living together in the Netherton area of Dudley, Worcestershire. I'm not certain that Daniel junior was still alive in 1871 but his wife Eliza and his children should still be in the area. Many thanks Heather

Susan, Hard to find them and ancestry wont let me use wildcard after 2 letter like Ev* as it needed 3 letter before the star which is annoying! But will look into it more later as I'm off out soon :) Tracy
