tracy, nothing else to go on ..... sorry. i know i am grasping at straws, i cant find them in 1901 or 1881, they arent listed at freebmd or anywhere online. as the daughter was born 1873/4 i was hoping the parents were together in 1871. I do understand if you cant help. Many thanks & regards lisa

Tracy, i havent got a clue who he lived with, i was hoping the census could tell me. I would presume Charles Harrison was the head of the house but he could be living with his family. they were definately together in the same house in Holbrook, leeds in 1873/4. thanks lisa

can i ask you to do an ancestry 1871 lookup please? i am looking for Charles Harrison in Holbrook, leeds, i think he was born abt 1848. he had a maid called Mrs Lincoln. The maid(Mrs Lincoln) & Mr Harrison had a daughter Edith Harrison on 23rd August 1874. thanks very much. kind regards lisa

Hi Tracey, Could you do a 1891 look up in Nottingham. For Henry Calladine born c1877 and his father Daniel do not know mothers name but might be Rebbeca. Henry might be William Henry but not sure of that. On the 1881 census Daniel is down as married to Rebbeca but both aged 76 but ob freebmd I have found their marriage in 1876 so the 1881 censu might be wrong about thier ages. They might all have been living in the Basford arear or Radford area. Thanks Pauline

Hi Tracy Sorry to be a pain but wondered if you would mind if you have the time and rescources to check a couple more areas for me on 1891 census with regard to the Fowler family listed below, someone said that they had found Alexander now registered disable but working as a Engineer's Clerk in Whitney Oxon, and his wife Ellen 36 (I had her as 24 on 1881 census)Also children Winnifred (is on 1881 and 1891 census with her mother Ellen)and Ernest age 6 (he is 16 on 1901 cenus) together with other children, when I asked if Douglas Alexander Fowler (My great Grandfather was on there) he never replied so don't know if he was muddling them up with another family. In 1881 Alexander was a butler in St Albans Herts, and not living with his family so want to make sure I have the right person. So could yu cehck St Albans Herts for me please. I have the death of Alexander Fowler right age in Wallingford Oxon in 1899 and can find no Trace of Alexander alive in 1901 census. But have found Ellen Fowler with her children and also a child born Sussex Heathfield in abt 1886, so wonder if you have that area if you could check that please and also another child born about 1892/3 in Whitney Oxon, also have a child born Lutton Surrey abt 1895, but suppose that is after the child in Whitney so would be no good. If it is not too much trouble have you found any other Alexander and Ellen Fowler who he could have been muddling them up with. I f I am asking to much will understand but would just like to place Alexander with this family to know I am on he right path, as I can find no record of his birth either, though think I have found the marriage but want to ensure have the right family.
