Hi Sally, My grandmother's maiden name was Isabel Waite on my father's birth cert. and Isabel Norman on his sister's. She was a travelling actress and Norman was her stage name(just to add to the mystery). Both father's names were Charles Coventry. Thanks again Maureen |

Hi Sally, Thanks very much for the look up, you have just solved a small mystery for me, as I already had the 1901 census read out for Frank Marden Wood, not realising that Edith and William were his sister and brother in law, not too sure what to make of the age discrepencies though. Many thanks once again. Belle. |

Hi Sally I was wondering if you could look up a couple for me. They lived at 29 Dante Road, Newington Surrey in 1881 havnt found them in 1891 yet. There names are John Davis born Lambeth he was a french polisher and in 1901 he would be about 56 and his wife Matilda Davis age about 50 she was also born in Lambeth. I would love to know if they are still at this address and if they had any children with them. Thank yo so much for the offer. Debbie |

Hello again, Sally, Thanks very much for that info. I would be very grateful if you could find look for Josh (also known as Joseph) Binns on the 1871 census. From the the 1881 census of the LDS it looks as though he was living in York at that time with his widowed Mum, Mary. But he's down as married altho' no wife's name appears and I would be really interested to see who he was married to in 1871. Thanks again for oyur help, Catharine |
