hi kelly. i have found a couple of yours on the 81. and a couple on the 61 census. ada[ b 1879] is the daughter of george and mary. george is the grandson of the sarah b c1777. stenstill is stensall melbourn is melburn haxton/felaxton is flaxton. i need your postal address , will send these to you. message your address to me. look through what i send, you might be able to begin to form some kind of tree from the info. then you will be able to see which gaps need filling in. still havnt found parents of george, might be the john b 1811 ??? there are a few connections for you to start with. sue. |

Thanks for the info on Sarah Chambers in Langar, Sue. Yes I do have Frederick on 1881 census : living with parents John (b. Balderton) and Marther (b. Langar) and his brother William (b. Arnold) They were living at Red Hill, Arnold. John and Marther would have married around 1850. Sue Wain |

Hi Sue I wonder if you could find any information for an elderley relative of mine in Australia both her family and her husbands seem to go betweeen Durham and Yorkshire, so there may be a chance you have something on them if you search by Surname, I realise if this is not possible there is not enough information to search by Parish. We know that Christopher Brotherton married Mary Brown on the 8th June 1817 at Haunton Le Skern Durham, but cannot find Christopher's date of Birth or his parents. also John Hanby/Harnby/Hornby (various records have different spellings of the surname)born possible Langthorpe York early 1800's, m Elizabeth Hauxwewll on 8th April 1801 in Yorkshire but again no birthdate or parents. |
