Hi Sue Thanks for the kind offer, I would be grateful if you could look up the following: William Dawson b. 1745 Thornhill, married 1770 Flockton-Matthew Dawson b. 1781 Emley, married Ann Abbott 1801 Emley-Jacobus Abbott b. 1700 Emley, married 1720 Emley. I have many more but I don't want to ask for too much. One other thing if you don't mind, how do I go about getting certificates from parish records? Martha Asquith b c1814 in Thornhill area Joseph Crowther b c1821 in Batley Selina Rothery b c1822 in Batley They were married in 1841. hi mike, the areas are difficult to work out , even with a map ! there are 63 bracewell entries, but doesnt cover the areas you listed. lots in rothwell/gisburne and kildwick ! do you have any first names, cousin sue.
