Hi Debra I am looking for my great great grandparents Mary Ann and William John Wood (age c53 in1871, occupation lighterman), living in Southwark, London in 1871. I know they would have had two sons at least with them at the time - William Henry Wood, age c 9years and Frederick Roake Wood age c13 years. In 1881 family were living at 32 Emerson Street, Southwark St Saviour, but I don't have any earlier address although I know from apprenticeship records they must have been living nearby in 1871. Mary ann had died by 1881- poss before 1871. Would be very grateful if you could look for them on the 1871 census. With thanks Sue Price |
