Hi Deb Re my Edward CARTER with wife Lilian born Australia. Have you really found an Edward CARTER b 1879 Birmingham England on US census? If so, possibly Lilian is dead or he is not with her anymore. Are the two children Hazel and Ruby with Edward? I feel very excited about the possibility that you may have found him. What year is this? Could I please have the details anyway. I don't have any other info other than what I wrote - this is my elusive grandfather who was in NSW in 1908 when he married Lilian but disappears after that date. Only know they had 2 children Hazel and Ruby and that Hazel was a boy! Can't wait for your reply. Barbara

VALERIE THE 1871 CENSUS FOR SUSSEX IS NOT AVAILABLE ON ANCESTRY AT THE MOMENT.. THE ONLY INFO I HAVE FOUND IS ON THE 1881, 1891 1901, AND THE MARRIAGE TO LUCY POSTLEWAITE, BUT YOU MOST PROB HAVE GOT THIS INFO ALREADY. DEB
