Hi Teresa, Could you please look up the marriage Of Agnes Darnborough born c1849 in Manchester, Lancashire (according to 1901 & 1891 census) and Edward Davies born c1843 in Salford, Lancashire (according to same censuses). They had 6 children, the first 3 were born in Manchester, the next 3 in Salford. The eldest Arthur was born in c1873. Could you also look up Agnes's birth. Thank you very much for your kind offer. Hi Stephen;I think I may have looked this up for you before, no worries though. The only marriage I can find for James Delaney to Mary is in 1847 Dublin to Mary Keating. There is this christening for John that I think you already have. I checked the district and there are dozens of Delaney names. If you want them all and feel like sorting them out email me off list. hi, this is a long shot but im trying to trace MARGARET FITZGERALD BORN ABOUT 1833 IN ROSSGRAY OR ROSCREA NEAR TIPPERARY she was sent to Australia in 1849 as a potato famine orphan. Also im trying to trace JEREMIAH HENRY MARSDEN BORN 1817 IN BOLTON?? he also went to Australia so there wont be any marriage records for them. Also any info on a WILLIAM JAMES JINNETTE BORN IN 1838 IN COCOUNNTY ARMAGH. Or any JINNETTE around that time. ANY HELP WOULD BE WONDERFUL. THANK YOU.

Thanks Teresa There are two possibles there(keeping an open mind as all census records have him born in Longridge) Do you mind looking at the one in Newton and the one in Rochdale. Sandra Jackpot!!!!!!! Found him. It wasn't any of the ones on the BVRI but thanks for your time anyway Teresa. However I now have the name of his mother Ellen COUPE and his father John FLETCHER. According to the 1851 census they were born c.1809 and 1808 respectively. It gives the area born as DILWORTH, ALSTON which is around Longridge in PRESTON. Any chance you could check up on these instead pretty please!! Sandra

Teresa thank you very much the closest i have been, and yes please would love to see the siblings of john ruskin, 1940 in cheshunt,so that i can narrow this all down, is there any way you can find the ones of the John ruskin born in 1929 too. Cheshunt seems to have been a community of Ruskins that is what is throwing me and i am so sure they are all related! I also have my John Ruskin (born 1830) married to a Jane ?born 1841, god hope this makes sense,there daughter and first born was mary 1858, is there any way you could find there marriage for me... that may answer a lot of questions thank you again Janet

Hi Diane; There are two versions of the BVRI, the first and second edition. The second edition has all the records of the first edition plus many additional records, just an updated version of the first.
