According to the 1851 census they were born c.1809 and 1808 respectively. It gives the area born as DILWORTH, ALSTON which is around Longridge in PRESTON. Any chance you could check up on these instead pretty please!! Sandra

hi, this is a long shot but im trying to trace MARGARET FITZGERALD BORN ABOUT 1833 IN ROSSGRAY OR ROSCREA NEAR TIPPERARY she was sent to Australia in 1849 as a potato famine orphan. Also im trying to trace JEREMIAH HENRY MARSDEN BORN 1817 IN BOLTON?? he also went to Australia so there wont be any marriage records for them. Also any info on a WILLIAM JAMES JINNETTE BORN IN 1838 IN COCOUNNTY ARMAGH. Or any JINNETTE around that time. ANY HELP WOULD BE WONDERFUL. THANK YOU.

Hi Stephen;I think I may have looked this up for you before, no worries though. The only marriage I can find for James Delaney to Mary is in 1847 Dublin to Mary Keating. There is this christening for John that I think you already have. I checked the district and there are dozens of Delaney names. If you want them all and feel like sorting them out email me off list. Hi Teresa, Could you please look up the marriage Of Agnes Darnborough born c1849 in Manchester, Lancashire (according to 1901 & 1891 census) and Edward Davies born c1843 in Salford, Lancashire (according to same censuses). They had 6 children, the first 3 were born in Manchester, the next 3 in Salford. The eldest Arthur was born in c1873. Could you also look up Agnes's birth. Thank you very much for your kind offer. Hello again Teresa, thanks for looking for Sarah Albury of Berkshire.I know Charles Appletons wife was a Sarah and FreeBMD has only male names on marriage cert,but if you click on the page number it revels other names on same page as there was a Sarah Albury next to his I assumed she was the one! I guess I'm wrong. I have no info on the Sarah who is Charles wife other than she was born in Englefield Berkshire about 1816, if any of that helps. thanks for your kind help. best wishes Penny

I am stuck on William Ashton born c1810 Blackburn he married Pheobe Lightbourne 16/09/1833 found their marriage when visiting Preston records office but, did not state parents names. think I have found her's but, not sign of his. so recap, looking for parents of William Ashton, christening I think would be St Mary's Blackburn Lancashire.
