Hi Lesley, Sorry I cannot find who you are looking for in 1861 census, there are about 50 almost blank pages for St Pauls Bristol so if they are in those we are out of luck I'm afraid. I will do 1841 for you though. Regards Pat

Hi Cath, I have found your BISHOP family in 1841 in Doynton, they are as follows. Sarah BISHOP - 55 - Publican William " - 27 - Ag Lab Sarah " - 3 - I think she must belong to William JOHN " - 23 Henry " - 20 George " - 19 Thomas " - 15 It gives very little information on the pages, but it looks like the address was Joghill House Doynton, and it looks like Sarah and William have been Widowed. I hope this helps. Good luck Pat

Hi Patricia: If possible, you could you please try to find Joseph Benjamin Walker age 5 or 6 on the 1841 census. He was born in Cheltenham in 1835. I think I have his family in Deerhurst Walton parish of Deerhurst but he is not with them. I am wondering if he was already away at a boarding school or just visiting someone. The family I have found have a three day old child and other young children so am wondering if Joseph was sent away while the baby was born. Any leads you can give me would be a huge help.

Pat I would be so grateful if you could do me some look-ups in 1861 Rendcomb for William MEALING farm labourer, single, b. Rendcomb 1835 He would be living with his parents, JOHN (b Guiting Power) and MARY Mealing and their other children including Emma or alternatively with Richard MOSS and his daughter SARAH and her child. The year after this census, in 1862, William murdered Sarah, so I would be really interested to know where these people were, and if possible the name of Sarah's child. I would be pleased to have information about both these households if possible. Many thanks in advance. Helen
