Hi Laurie Would you mind looking up the following family for me? They would be living in the Harlow or Epping area of Essex and on the 1861 census the details were as follows: Benjamin Wood age 66 born in Harlow, Essex (Head), Sarah Wood age 62 born in Loughton, Essex (Wife), John Wood age 17 born in Harlow, Essex (Son), Ann Wood age 23 born in Harlow, Essex (Dau), Martha Wood age 15 born in Harlow, Essex (Dau). I'd be grateful for any details you find on the 1851 census for this family. Regards Carol |

Thanks for the offer. I am looking for MILLER. In 1861 I have:- William Miller, head, 49, jeweller, st. martin in the field elizabeth, wife, 45, jewellers wife, hampshire, kingston thomas, son, 16, jewellers apprentice, middlesex, shoreditch john, son, 10, scholar, middlesex, shoreditch walter, son, 9, scholar, middlesex, shoreditch mary ann, daughter, scholer, middlesex, shoreditch 2 Clerkenwell Close, Clerkenwell Green, Clerkenwell. I have been told they were not at the same address in 1851, but as the children were all born in Shoreditch they must have been living close by as Shoreditch and Clerkenwell are next to each other. Hope this makes sense. Regards Jackie |

Hi Laurie, if you can find the following then it will be a big help to me: Thomas James GOULD, aged 9, born Westminster Martha Charlotte GOULD, aged 1, born Pimlico Robert William GOULD, aged < 1, born Pimlico Parents are: Robert & Ann/Annie GOULD - no known information about them as yet. They could be in London/Middlesex but also Surrey possibly. Also desperately trying to find: Mary YATES, aged 2, born Droitwich Worcestershire Parents are: James & Eliza YATES. Both parents were born in Worcestershire but they may not be in Worcestershire on the 1851 census as I think they moved to Staffordshire. They are a right pain this family as they constantly moved around a lot. Thanks in advance, Andy |
