Find Ancestors

Hi Elizabeth Thanks for the offer. I'm keen to trace any POXTONs in Staffordshire (or anywhere actually!). But in particular it would be very useful to see if a William POXTON, b ca. 1780 is still alive at the time of the 1841 census. My 4g grandfather was born in the Norton Canes/Brownhills/Clayhanger area. He was married to Mary - although he may have had two wives - both called Mary unfortunately! The family moved around South Staffordshire. I think William and Mary's first child was Thomas POXTON born in Pelsall (he was christened there). Any help you can provide would be gratefully accepted. Hi Elizabeth, I'd be really grateful if you could help with either of the following: Mary Ann BAILEY, b. 1841 in Rowley (Regis) - she might just have made it for the census! Also William BELCHER, b. 1837 in Dog Lane. These 2 married and were living in Waterfall Lane, Rowley Regis in 1861, so that's possibly where Mary Ann's family were in 1841.
