Hi Sally The problem Im trying to sort is where Florence was born.On the 1891 They live in Long lane and the childrens place of birth is Long lane.Besides Florences name its pencilled in Derby.There is a Longlane village in Derby.Florence is my grandmother and I was always told she came from Derby.So is it just a fluke she lives in 7 Long Lane or is it her birth place.Im hoping the 1901 will clarify it for me. Sorry Sally Fred Ellis and Sarah Ann were married in the West Riding of Yorkshire. Is there a Fred or Frederick Ellis age 10yrs in the 1871 Census for Barnsley, WRY or William Henry Wilson age about 4yrs in the 1871 Census for Barnsley, West Riding of Yorkshire. Many Thanks Catherine. |

Hi Sally.Can you look on the 1901 census for James Darby.In 1891 he was in Cakemore.There should be Sarah his wife. Florence ,Emily,Ernest.Its the birth place of Florence that is causing confusion. Thank you |

rachel are you sure george was born 1869 have looked at 1871/91 cheshire and lancs and don't seem to be able to find him. If you have marriage cert it should give age and address on there. Here if you need me. Sally. |

Sally, I believe that is the marriage, the 1901 census has her back in London with children born in Yorks around the 1891 era... I'll keep digging.. Thanks for your help, Diane |

diane Have not found her on 1891 census but, found marriage between Thomas Mcintosh and Eliza Stock dec qrt 1887 richmond surrey vol 2a page 676 hope this helps, I am here if you need me. would love to know your thoughts. |
