Could you do a lookup for me please in the 1891 census.The 1901 info I already have is for the Blenkhorn family living at 4,Mayfield,Kendal Robert Blenkhorn 38 ironmonger born Kendal Agnes M Blenkhorn 33 Liverpool Robert L Blenkhorn 10 Kendal James H Blenkhorn 8 Kendal Dorothy Blenkhorn 1 Kendal Sadly I cant find Robert in the 1881 so could you see if hes there in the 1871.His parents I think were James Blenkhorn and Elizabeth.In 1901 Elizabeth was a widow and she lived at 25,Ann St,Kendal.

Hi Sally, I would appreciate any info on the following: John PLUMMER born St. Mary Cray, Kent C 1850 and Mary Ann (nee THORNBURY born Kilkenny C1851 ). Eldest son John born c1871. Arthur Henry COWLEY born Upton upon Severn c 1844 and Alice Elizabeth AVIS born Swaffham, Norfolk. If you come across any other Plummer or Cowley from those areas, they are bound to be related so info would be appreciated. Many Thanks Jacky

Thank you very much for the information Sally. I knew Arthur had been in Prison but very pleased to have the name of the prison. Hi Sally many thanks for your help so far. I've not done any research for such a long long time (just starting again after a long break!) so I've refreshed my memory regarding the elusive LEEs and I have an apology to make. William LEE, father of my William Edward LEE looks to have died before his son was born. Esther LEE (nee BOOTH) registers the birth of her son William Edward LEE born 1st September 1884 and it looks as though his father William LEE is deceased by the time his son was born (under fathers name on birth certificate looks like deceased in brackets). :( So by census time in 1891 and 1901 Esther may have been married again and William Edward LEE might have been living with a step family. I dont know if this additional snippet of information will be of any use to you but William Edward LEE goes on to marry a Susan THOMAS at St Chads in Romily in Feb 1914 His occupation by this time was print shop labourer. Id be so grateful if you could find any sign of William Edward! Thanks again for your time :) Netty ps it would also be great if you can find any sign of him on 1871 census?
