Hi Steph You have kindly offered to look up a marriage for me in 1820/1 between Rebecca Ann Ratnett/Edward Key, in Northampton. Mea in Tacoma has found it on 24th July 1821 at Northampton All Saints, but I should still be grateful if you could see from the records if there is an address or place given for Edward in Northampton or elsewhere - I am trying to find a link with Huntingdon where I think he was born. Hope this helps narrow the search for you - I'm extremely grateful for anything you can do. Many thanks Hope the New Year is going well for you! Regards Helen |

Hi Steph, I have a marriage certificate for my g. g. Aunt, Sarah Ann Jackson, born in Peterboro'in 1854. She married a fishmonger, Frederick Smith, in Jan 1872, at Queen St Baptist Chapel Peterboro. He was 21. No addresses are given. I have searched the 1881 census on Family Search and the 1891 census on Ancestry but cannot find either Frederick Smith or a Sarah Ann Smith who fits the picture. Are you able to access the records for Peterborough? I know there are some difficulties as it is now in Cambridgeshire. I would be grateful for any help, Rosemary(Essex) |

Hello Steph. Thanks to Ruth in Leicester I have some info on a family in 1841. I was wondering if you could find the same family for me in 1851 - if they are still alive - please. The info I have is Henry Barrat aged 55 (in 1841), his wife Ann 50 (in 1841). The address in 1841 is Dovecote Lane, Woodnewton. Also in the household in 1841 were William and Elizabeth who were both 25, and I assume to be a son & daughter-in-law, 2 more adults, Thomas 20 and Mary 18. there are also 3 children Alfred 3, Theodora, 4m & Edward, 1m. (all ages 1841). Mary is the person who line I have work up. She married in 1842. If you could find me any info on the others, it would me much appreiciated. Thank you Helen |

Hi Steph, Someone kindly sent me all the Morton's on the 1841 census for Grafton Regis and Yardley Gobion today. However, do they have the 1831 census for Northamptonshire? That one would be good to see if Henry Morton is on there. I think I have found a brother to him David. Anyway, Thanks for looking for me. Mea. |

Hi Steph I would like to take you up on your offer I have a Richard Taylor married to Ann - they were both born around 1720 Croughton and almost certainly married there too but not sure of date The children I know of are: John Richard Elizabeth I have this as april 1773 but it would make Ann in her 50's so not sure as to the accuracy here Ann died may 1780 but I don't know about Robert I am keen to find Anns maiden name and possible parents of Richard - Anything at all that would help Thanks Teresa |

Hi Steph, Mea Again, Wonder if you could do a couple of look-ups for me Please next time you go to the Library. I am still trying to find my Morton Family. Could you see if they have the 1841 census for Yardley Gobion. Have found that some time the name was spelt MorEton but most times Morton. Looking for Henry, b 1812 Grafton Regis. Have found he married 3 x, so wife could of been Ann or Mary, married 2 Ann's 1 Mary. Could you see if they are on the 1861 census, but try using the spelling MorEton........ The other family I am looking for would of been on the 1861-71 census. Harriett Roberts, b c1840 in Wales. Would of been living in Wolverton with her husband, have her on the 1881 census with chidren, but she was widowed by then, and can't figure out who her husband was or where he came from. Hope this is not too long winded. Mea. |
