Hi Sally, Thanks for the info, the James you gave me was not the James I wanted but must be related. The problem is where does he fit in, I think I know but it depends on who Mary Twitty aged 72 is. Are you able to tell me what her relationship to James is? Thanks very much for looking for me. Trixie

Hi Sally, Thanks for your kind offer I am looking for an ancestor of mine called Richard Walton and his parents and siblings. At present, the only information I have is from the 1881 census. From that census I have that he was born c1835/6 in Birmingham, Warwick and in 1881 he was an engine driver. In 1881 he was living at 31 Turner St in Aston. Hope this is enough to go on. Thanks in advance Andy

Hi Sally, Re Edward Parker.. page 1..I have been able to track him down until 1857, he was Royal Regiment of Artillary (Bombardier) at Granby, Devon. Could you have a look to see if you can find him on the '51 census, with occupation something to do with the RA ? Also, anything on Eleanor Tapp, she would have been about 16 years in '51. Hope this is more helpfull than my request on page 1, Many thanks, Kaye.

Hi Sally, I wondered if you wouldn't mind searching for a Hannah Ann Lusher in the 1851 census for Norfolk. She was born in Attleborough in 1834, so would have been 17 years old. I'd like to know where she was living and with whom. Thanks, Emma

Mardi Report 27 Nov 2004 09:05

Hi Sally, I am so sorry I am boggling your brain. I can't find a birth or marriage for these two, I probably need a new pair of eyes! I have the Birth cert for their son (jan 1857)..they may well have had another child before him. Edward would have been about the same age as Eleanor, 19 in '51..that whole line of Parkers were RA, so I am sure he would have a military occupation. Would the Eleanor Tapp you found have a place of birth and name of employer ? as I maybe able to tie her in with a list of Tapps that I have . Thank you for being so patient with all this vague info. Kaye.
