Hi Margaret, I am looking to fill out some details about Samuel TINSDALE (b c1842, Belfast, Ireland) and family. He is on the 1881 census in Woodborough Road, Nottingham with his wife Charlotte (mn. TRIGG b. c1843, Manchester). They had 9 children: Samuel Henry TINSDALE (b 1864, London (St Andrew)) James TINSDALE (b 1866, London (St Andrew)) Sheridan Henry TINSDALE (b 1867, Nottingham) Charlotte Sheridan TINSDALE (b 1869, Nottingham) Ellen Tennant TINSDALE (b 1870, Nottingham) Thomas TINSDALE (b 1872, Nottingham) George TINSDALE (b 1874, Nottingham) Della TINSDALE (b 1876, Nottingham) Edith TINSDALE (b 1880, Nottingham) I know that James married Elizabeth URQUHART on 21 Dec 1890 in Edinburgh, and have managed to find him on the 1891 and 1901 census. I believe that Samuel (snr) died some time before 1901, and that Charlotte and the remaining children moved to the Salford area. Any leads you can provide would be greatfully received. Hi Leslie Ancestry haven't yet got the 1901 Wales census so I'm afraid I cannot be of much help. You might have to go to the pay per view 1901 website and check on there (although even then I'm not sure if they do Wales too). Sorry.
