MAUREEN I found the following on my BVRI2 discs for marriage for alfred thomas king ............... KING, Alfred Thomas Age: 42 Marriage Wife: Maria WOODS Age: 39 Marriage Date: 8 Nov 1873 Recorded in: Yarmouth, Norfolk, England Collection: St Nicholas Wife previously married Husband's Father: Alfred KING Wife's Father: James POWLEY Source: FHL Film 1526458 Dates: 1869 - 1875 possible marriage for father.................... KING, Alfred Marriage Wife: Catherine COLYER Marriage Date: 23 Jan 1831 Recorded in: Yarmouth, Norfolk, England Collection: St Nicholas Source: FHL Film 1526456 Dates: 1806 - 1848 KING, Alfred Thomas Christening Gender: Male Christening Date: 19 Sep 1831 Recorded in: Yarmouth, Norfolk, England Collection: St Nicholas Father: Alfred KING Mother: Catherine Source: FHL Film 1526328 Dates: 1769 - 1833 If this is correct then it would mean he was born in 1831!!!!! I have found Alfred and Catherine on the 51 census but no Alfred Thomas on the census. If his marriage to maria is correct then I also have found her family on the 51 census. debs |

Deborah Thank you so much for the offer - wonder if I can take you up on hte 1851 Census for Warwick Im keen to find the following: William Stanton Deag 34yrs (jeweller) and his wife Martha 33yrs Also Wiliams father - John Deag 57yrs (works with precious stones) and his wife Elizabeth 58yrs And Marthas father - William Duke (in his 50s) (maker of tin toys) and his wife Elizabeth (50s) Any help you can provide would be gratefully received and if I can return the favour with the 1861 census for London then please let me know Best wishes Helen |
