May be why no father is that on my Dad's war records he has his Dad as a seaman would that be why nothing in the census? Dad has Rose as his next of kin, spinster of Howard Rd, Leytonstone where abouts would that be to Poplar? is that with in the sound of the Bow Bells? Is there any where I could get a birth citif,There was one place at 23 pounds which = N.Z.$69.00 Do you know of any were? I dont know when but at some stage ether his Mum or his Dad died. Is there any were I could find out? My Mum says he was on the home boats whch one I don't know so that will be why he joind the N.Z. E.F. Wellington Mounted Rifles in the first world war.
