Hi Ann e-mailed you. Unfortunatley none of the Samuel Talbot's fit - all I can thick is that it has been transcribed incorrectly as he was in Leigh in 1871 (age 10) and married in 1883 (age 20) again in Leigh - it's just a mystery were he was inbetween!!!! Thanks for looking Lorraine

Hi Ann yes this could be the one is it possible to send me the details -address / other houshold members etc - the image would be brilliant if possible - thanks I'm actually trying a different tact to try and find her brother Samuel as no one has any joy finding him in 1881 - so I thought if I tried his sister some light ma be shed!! - from the sound of it though he isn't likely to be with her. I did find a 22 year old Catherine Talbot in Lancs working as a servant in a home. All young women, wonder if it's for single mothers or something? Does this sound likely? Regards Ann

Mike, Let me know when you get that marriage cert so I can try to pin down Elizabeth. I can't read the place of birth on the 1891. Mike, Have found them now on the 1891. John is there as being 29 and Elizabeth as 25. There are 2 kids, William aged 4 and Margaret aged 2. There is a widowed aunt, looks like Margaret Dallis aged 42 and a cousin, looks like Richard aged 11. John's occupation boiler maker Please let me know if you would like the image. Ok Mike, trying to narrow it down I thought I would try the LDS site for the 1881 as it has a better search facilty on it. I wonder if this could be your guy? If they did indeed marry in 1884, that would make him about 23/24 at time of marriage. I'll try again now on the 1891 to find him, now we have it pinned down to someone about 30 if this is him.
