Hi Alison, Have been trying to find the marriage of William Cheer of Shepperton Middlesex to Gainor Ward of Henfield Sussex. The first child was born in 1836 and the marriage will not be before 1821. Thank you Joan Marshall |

Hi! This will test your powers! A real long shot this one! Jane ??? born in Lewes around 1780/1781 and married James WILSON born 1824 in Islington, Middx. Their first (surviving) child was born in 1810 so must be prior to this date I guess. I don't know whether they married in Sussex or on the moon but am following all leads! Hello Alison, Many thanks for your kind offer, I am trying to find a record of 2 marriages in Sussex. The first is of David Pettet/Pettett/Pettit/Pettitt ( the spelling varies ) and Mary, possibly Redman between 1810-1828 The second is of Thomas Packham and Mary 1805-1835. I know the information is a bit sketchy but your help would be most appreciated. Thanks....................Pam |
