Elaine, i have found nearly all my brood around that time. The only one missing is Jane Hayes, born 1839. warrington. Could you check for her please. I have a feeling she may have married in 1860, with a different age and her husband,s place of birth, but that is only a guess. The 1841 works a treat and am slowly ploughing my way through it.(Jane is not with her parents in 1861. Her brothers married in Manchester) Many thanks and best wishes.

Hi Elaine, I would be very grateful if you could do some look ups for me. First, Peter Dillon, brushmaker, living at 191 Deansgate in 1865 with wife Catherine. Would be very keen to find where they were in 1861 and if any children with them at that time. Second, Michael Logue, born c.1841, father also called Michael Logue but may be dead in 1861, living at 27 Dale St, Hulme in 1865. Third, Sarah Burns, born c.1842 in Dumfries, father Peter Burns born in Ireland, mother Margaret Burns, living at 90 Stretford Road, Hulme in 1865. Many thanks, Louise

Thanks Elaine. Very interesting about the Burns! Not what I expected at all. Re. Dillons, it was actually Peter and Catherine I was looking for. Did you check this and put Richard in your reply by mistake or have we looked for the wrong name? Sorry to be a pain but it would be helpful to know if they are or aren't there in 1861. Hi Elaine Sorry to bother you again but do you have the 1851 lancs census ?? The 1861 Census is definately my Wilkinson's. In 1851 William would be 16 ish. Gives his birthplace as Pennington on most other census I have. Any chance of finding him possibly living at Dalton. Possible father Henry Wilkinson. I know its a bit vague. But this line has been rather hard to find. I look forward to hearing from you Maureen

hi Elaine thank you for your offer, if it is not to late could you look for Thomas Hume, he is on the 1851 census at 30 Earle st everton liverpool but not on 1871 his wife is down as head at 154 havstock st Everton liverpool. He was born in scotland and marred in liverpool he was about 45 old his wife was jane and kids james 9 , thomas 6, willam 4, jane 2, and maybe annie and emma under one hope you can help allen
