hi Deborah, Lynne here! I have found both Arthur Watts's on the IGI. Can you help me ascertain if one of them moved to Suffolk.I don't know where else to look. I have tried everywhere and without this info can not go back any further. thanks so much for taking the time Lynne |

Lynne I also found on IGI the two entries for...................... 1) born Paignton 1768 married to Elizabeth Boord( found two daughters from this marriage) 2) born Hillmorton , Warwickshire 1772 but I cannot confirm if he/they moved to suffolk, unfortunately both are too old to cross reference on the census that I have. What info do you have that lead you to these two Arthur's? debs |

Hi Debs, the only info I have for sure is that Arthur Watts died in 1839 aged 70 years in Bury St Edmunds Suffolk. There were three Arthurs born around 1770, one I have discounted because he was still alive in 1841. Arthur Watts had two boys in 1814 and 1816 with Elizabeth Timpson nee Fulcher.I reasoned that because this was her second partnership (she had already been married to James Timpson and had children), and that Arthur was 45 when he had his first child, that maybe he had been married before too. I don't know anymore, I seem to be on a hopeless trail! Lynne |
