Sheila, You are one amazing lady! I honestly didn't think you'd find any trace of old Fergus SANDY and there he is in Wales in 1871! I have a feeling he was badly mistranscribed in 1891 - I had a brief spell with Ancestry and tried everything to find him. Unless of course like so many of our ancestors, he was abducted by aliens sometime after 1881 - and deposited, in his case, in Croydon by 1901! Thank you so much for your generous gesture this weekend. We all owe you a few genealogical favours now for sure. Kindest regards, Jane |

i am trying to trace the parents of my late grandmother Sarah Louisa Walker, who was born in the Ashbourne area on 19/10/1913 and she died 07/03/1963. I believe her fathers name was George Henry Walker (this is not yet substantial info),but this is all the info i have of him i'm afraid.i keep hitting a brick wall.As regards my grandmothers mother,i have no info at all,so any info re b,m&d certs or census would be gratefully received. many thanks in anticipation, tracey |

Tracey, sorry,Ancestry has limited info after 1901. Why don`t you send for your grandmothers birth certificate, as you have her date of birth? This will give you her parents names. Sheila |
