Hi Joan I was just wondering whether you had found any Margaret Coombs burials in St James, Westminster from March 1821 to March 1830 in the Bishops Transcripts they hold, mine was born in June 1817, and I am just trying to find if she died young as I cannot find any marriage for her on on any censuses. She was my ggg grandfathers older sister. Thanks Ben |

Hi! Sorry don't know the admission date of William RUSSELL to the workhouse, only that it was after the 1871 census as he was in Birmingham at that point! I believe he then died in Kent in 1888 so would be useful to know when he left the workhouse and why! I really, really appreciate this! You are a star! Thanks! Evie |

Hi Joan I know I am really pushing my luck this time, but PLEASE can I ask for one more request?! William RUSSELL aged 70 was in the Workhouse in Bermondsey (Russell Str/ Tanner Str) in 1871. He was a hatter. Apparently the info regarding his admission and other useful info ie next of kin, reason for admission etc is held at the LMA and I would really appreciate it if you have the time to look for me. If this is too much, don't worry. I appreciate your time and effort in looking for my other requests! Many thanks Evie |

Hello Barbara I'm sorry, but the registers of St.Botolph Bishopsgate are at the Guildhall Library. Lyla has a thread, Rainy Day Guildhall Library, I'm sure if you add your request to that she'll help if she can. Joan x |

Hi Joan Sorry for being cheeky but while you are checking out the marriage of William RUSSELL & Matilda Rebecca FORESTER in 1832, would it be possible, please, to try and trace Matilda's baptism record? The info I have is that she was born in Camberwell around 1812. If that is too vague don't worry. I am really grateful for all your help. Regards Evie |

Hello Joan May I request a look-up please? From the IGI I've got: St Botolph, Bishopgate, London James CARTER born 27th October 1854 christened 10th December 1854 parents: James CARTER and Jane Would really like to confirm this info, and anything more christening record shows - father's occupation, address - the father's occupation would be really useful if this is shown. Would really appreciate if you could do this, but will quite understand if you can't. Many thanks. Barbara |

Hi Joan, I have no idea of the mother's name I only have Charles (deceased) stated as father on her marriage certificate of 1874. However, I have had another message sent from someone (another Joan) who has found her sister Martha on the 1851 census and is going to send me the image so will let you know if this gives me any other information. Many thanks. Rose |
