Ellen Thanks for details on a possible Ann Williamson for me, the area is most definatly making it a 90% hit for me, the family are all still in the Linlithgow area but aren't interested in giving any info unfortunatly. Ann Married William Braes b 1873 they had William 1899, Marion 1903 Stephen 1905 Andrew 1909 and Margeret 1911 (at least) My 2 children are Braes descendants and I'm researching for them, I got married in Stirling 15 years ago but live in Kent. Hi susan Do you mean SKares?? to the east of Drongan? Stair is about the same distance away but to the north. Both of course are very close to Mauchline where one of the Sophia Ramages above is living in 1881. Anyway, it doesn't change the fact that these are all of the births, and none are as far south in Ayrshire as either Stair or Skares. Margaret Noval b 1864 maybe living in the Glasgow area with her father Archibald Norval. Margaret Paxton b 1866 maybe living with her family in the Haddington area (i think). Parents William Paxton and Margaret (Huntly). John Hamiton b 1860, living with parents Alexander Hamiton and Jane (Jeffery). Not sure which area. John Crawford b 1854 Peebles area.
