Hello Maureen, Hope your foot is feeling better. I wonder if you would mind looking up a few hampshire records for me? I am looking for any births, deaths or marriages for the Faichen family in Southampton(from about 1830) and earlier in Bishops Sutton , Ropeley and Bighton in Hampshire- they may be in other places in Hampshire too but these are the places I know they lived. In particular I am looking for William Faichen who I think would have been born late 1780's- 90 and married about 1808 or perhaps a bit before. I am looking also for the birth of his son also William born arounfd 1810 and two daughters one called Jane? His son then went to live in Southampton as above. Still haven't cracked james allison - have probs getting on to Scotlands people to get birth certificate! thanks for your help. Alice |
